I build software systems, learn in public, and keep a healthy respect for production.
I am a software engineer, architect, lifelong learner, and reader. I enjoy working across the full shape of software: from product engineering and architecture to DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, databases, and generative AI.
Outside work, I like simple things: walking, cooking, reading, and spending time with my daughter. I talk to her a lot, mostly because she asks better questions than most design reviews.
I use this site as a place to write notes, clarify my thinking, and share things I am learning.

How I Am Using AI
I am enjoying vibe coding with AI tools, but with supervision. The AI can move fast, which is useful. It can also confidently walk into a wall, so I still keep my hands near the steering wheel.
Outside The Keyboard
I like walking, cooking, and reading. Most of all, I like spending time with my daughter and talking to her. Those conversations are a good reminder to explain things simply and honestly.
